with quality materials to get the job done, so do not be fooled by those small vacuum cleaner splat systems available.

They simply do not give you the same results that specialised

and professional airbrush tanning equipment does.

Chances are you will most likely be disappointed and are also likely to end up a not so attractive shade of orange instead of the natural tanned look you are after.

In the area of skin tanning, the airbrush tanning process has proved itself a winner.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

You turn up.

We say hi.

You undress (leave underwear on if you prefer)

We prespray you.

We airbrush spray you.

You get dressed and leave.

Your tan will completely develop over an 8 hour period.

You look good.

We see you again.

WHAT BRAND AND PRODUCTS ARE YOU USING?

Just like Colonel Sanders has his eleven secrets, so do we! So we wont get technical.

Basically, there is no need for concern, our solution and application is sooo good

that you will keep coming back.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST ?

Your tan should last up to ten days, depending on how you care for your skin.

As a guide, we point out that the life of your airbrushed spray tan is generally similar in comparison to the life of your natural tan.

If a natural tan lasts a week then your airbrushed spray tan will last a week.

The fading process is similar to that of a natural tan.

I AM PALE AND CAN NOT NORMALLY TAN

I HAVE PATCHES OF DRY SKIN, HOW WILL THIS AFFECT MY TAN?

Patches of dry skin will soak up more of the tan,

and can make you look blotchy and it will not look natural.

If you are prone to patches of dry skin, mention this to us and

you will be pleasantly surprised to find that we at Bronze You

pre-spray all clients sufficiently with our solution that will minimise

the appearance and negative effects of dry patches.

All of our products have been tested and are suitable for sensitive skin.

I HAVE STRETCH MARKS, HOW WILL THIS AFFECT MY TAN?

Without the correct preparation your stretch marks can soak up more of the tan,

highlight the marks and make you look blotchy.

If, like the rest of us are, you are prone to areas with stretch marks,

you will be pleasantly surprised to find that we at Bronze You pre-spray

all clients sufficiently with our solution that will minimize the appearance of stretch marks.

HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY SPRAY TANNING SESSION?

You will find that preparation is the key if you want to end up with a

beautiful and natural looking tan.

Scrub and moisturise in the days leading up to receiving your airbrushed spray tan.

Additionally, it is very important that you shower, scrub and exfoliate

before your tanning session.

This is essential to achieve an even airbrushed tan

because if there is any make-up or grease on your skin,

it will show through the tan and can cause a blotchy effect.

SHOULD I SHAVE BEFORE OR AFTER MY SPRAY TANNING SESSION ?

We recommend shaving the day prior to receiving your tan or at least several hours beforehand.

Shaving after your tan is like exfoliating and can fade your tan.

The prespray preparation we apply before your tan reduces the rate of hair regrowth

on shaved areas, you will be very pleased to know that you will not have to shave

as frequently after receiving your tan from us.

WAXING?

We recommend waxing a day or two prior to receiving your tan.

MY WEDDING DRESS?

We recommend receiving your airbrushed spray tan two days prior to your big day

to ensure your tan does not affect you wedding dress.

We have professionally airbrush spray tanned many brides with great success.

I CAN NOT GET A BABY SITTER, CAN I BRING MY BABY?

Yes we are kid friendly and can accommodate when necessary, just like visiting a friend.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

We at Bronze You recommend wearing loose clothing.

Our home studio is very discreet so you can leave your make-up at home

and definitely feel free to wear your worst underwear also!

Avoid clothing that can rub such as denims.

Avoid putting your bra on afterwards.

This can rub the area prior to the tan fully developing.

(this of course does not apply to the Bronze You male tanners!)

Avoid wearing shoes and socks as like denim, they can rub.

So, throw on your thongs or turn up barefoot if you like.

UMM, BUT I AM A GUY?

For the guys, we recommend wearing boxer shorts or similar if you would

like your tan airbrushed with a shaded finish towards the top of your legs.

Yes we can airbrush our tan to disguise and blend

drivers arm, white sock and short wearing areas.

We are experienced in applying tan to the hairy chest, back and leg areas.

Yes it true, you will appear slimmer.

You will look naturally tanned, we tan guys all the time

No, you wont look stupid! No one will ever know your faking it, unless you tell them!

HOW LONG UNTIL I CAN SHOWER AFTER MY SPRAY TANNING SESSION?

I personally recommend getting an airbrushed spray tan later in the day

and showering the next morning.

We are open until 11pm to accommodate this recommendation.

Our solution does not stink and like all spray tans, when applied correctly you will leave the studio completely dry - therefore it is safe to go to bed afterwards allowing the tan to develop overnight.

Otherwise, generally allow approximately 8 hours for the tan to develop completely

before showering.

We found that our solution does not stain sheets.

WILL SWIMMING AFFECT MY SPRAY TAN?

Swimming will affect the tan especially prior to it developing completely.

Where possible, try to avoid swimming within the first 8 hours.

We have tested our product and found it does fade evenly if you swim

in chlorinated water within the first few hours of receiving your tan.

SEATBELTS -

I have been told before to place the seat belt under my arm or leave it off completely!

At Bronze You we ALWAYS advise you to wear a seat belt when driving

at ALL times.

Spray Tanning, when applied correctly, is definitely dry enough to wear your seat belt.

Your safety is VERY important to us!

DOES THE SPRAY TAN OFFER SPF PROTECTION?

Simply put - No it does not!

So, be careful when you are in the sun because the tanning solution we use does make your skin appear darker, but it is not like having a base tan. The use of sunscreen is still very important when you are outdoors for periods of time.

Make sure you take good care of your skin after the tan has been applied.

An airbrushed spray tan can look very natural,

and is certainly better for you than the sun,

but you will hate it if it does not look good on your skin.
